September Update

Well I'm starting to get pinged for not posting anything of late, so here's a quick update. The girls each enjoyed a week in Southern France. Aubrey went to Bordeaux where she wind surfed and sailed (sorry no pictures yet); Brenna went to Biarritz where she learned to surf! Pretty wild...lucky kids no!

Dedi is busy with her new 3rd grade class and I've been burning the candle at all ends with lots of travel back and forth to the USA.

On my last trip I was able to get in a visit with Mom and Dad, Becky and her family, and Don, Andrea and Amy. Even got to see Andrea's family including fellow bikers, Bob and Lynn. I've attached a nice collection of pictures...clearly a whirlwind of a trip!

It's definitely fall weather here with winter threatening to come in early. But the weekend was nice and Dedi and I got in nice bike rides on Saturday (running errands) and Sunday (having fun!)...check out her new wheels. Rumor has it she's pretty happy, though on the 16% grades I think she misses her mountain bike gearing! Having said that, she's quite the monster climber now and is tough to keep up with on the flats. I better watch out!

Awesome photo of Brenna surfing and would love to see one of Aubrey windsurfing. Best recreation I got in high school was getting to play the 9 hole, par 3, golf course as a part of PE a couple of times. Don

Me too! Hopefully she'll get some pictures from friends' cameras....

PE sure has changed in the last few years since some of us were in highschool!

Shoots, we had softball and volleyball, and if we were lucky, jumprope! Glad the girls are enjoying themselves...sounds like the parents aren't having too bad a time either! Lots of love, Ava

Hey Ava,
Yeah, I guess things have changed in the last few years.
Do you have Facebook? My photo is me in the scarf you made for me.
