Pay as you go trash service...

Brenna and I headed out to Zurich on Friday and visited our good friends Jan, Margaret, and family! They've settled in nicely and have a beautiful apartment in a very nice neighborhood in Dübendorf. The one quirk though that caught my eye was how their community handles trash! The service is free but you pay for the bags! Check this out! 5 'official trash bags' for only 16.75 CHF (about $13.00). Makes you think twice about what you decide to throw away.

Worse (and Margaret says Jan thought the same thing), it makes you wonder if there's a budding black market for counterfit trash bags!
